The journey begins from Srinagar and continues to the beautiful valley of Sonmarg, surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Pilgrims travel to Neelgrath Helipad and take a helicopter ride to Panchtarani, from where they proceed to the holy cave for darshan. Day 01
Srinagar to Sonmarg
  • After breakfast, check out from hotel in Srinagar and drive to Sonmarg.
  • Arrive in Sonmarg and check in at the hotel.
  • Visit Thajiwas Glacier or relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Sonmarg.
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.
  • Early morning transfer from Sonmarg to Neelgrath Helipad near Baltal.
  • Complete security and medical clearance at the helipad.
  • Board helicopter from Neelgrath to Panchtarani.
  • From Panchtarani, travel about 6 km to Amarnath Cave by trekking, pony, or palki (own cost).
  • Perform darshan at the holy cave.
  • Return to Panchtarani and take helicopter back to Neelgrath.
  • Transfer from Neelgrath to Sonmarg.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.
  • Important Notes
  • Report at helipad 1 hour before departure time mentioned on the ticket.
  • Helicopter ride depends on weather and technical conditions.
  • In case of delay or cancellation, overnight stay at Panchtarani may be required (own cost).
  • Return helicopter boarding from Panchtarani is on First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis.
  • Trek to the cave is allowed only if permitted by security authorities.
  • After breakfast, check out from hotel.
  • Drive to Srinagar International Airport or railway station for departure.
  • Tour ends with spiritual memories of the Amarnath Yatra.
