Pilgrims travel by helicopter from Neelgrath Helipad to Panchtarani, followed by a short trek to the holy cave for darshan of Baba Barfani. The tour also includes leisure time in Srinagar with an optional Shikara ride on Dal Lake and a scenic excursion to Gulmarg, famous for its mountain views and Gondola ride. Day 01
Amarnath Yatra via Baltal
  • Arrive at Srinagar International Airport and transfer to Sonmarg.
  • Check in at the hotel and relax.
  • Optional sightseeing in Sonmarg including Thajiwas Glacier and the Sindh River (at your own cost).
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.
  • Early morning drive to Neelgrath Helipad.
  • Board helicopter to Panchtarani.
  • From Panchtarani, trek about 6 km to the holy Amarnath Cave for darshan.
  • After darshan, return to Panchtarani and fly back to Neelgrath.
  • Drive back to Sonmarg hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg.
  • Important Notes
  • Passengers must report at the helipad 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
  • Helicopter service depends on weather and technical conditions.
  • If the return flight is delayed or cancelled, passengers may have to stay at Panchtarani or near the cave (own cost).
  • Return helicopter boarding from Panchtarani is on First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis.
  • Trekking to the cave is allowed only if permitted by army/security authorities.
  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Srinagar.
